Neither. Loan Fair is an introducer service. We don't provide loans, we don't provide credit advice, and we don't hold an Australian Credit Licence. We simply connect you with a licensed finance broker who does.

Comparison sites show you a list and let you choose. Loan Fair makes one hand-picked introduction based on your specific situation, your loan type, and how you like to work. We vet every broker in our network — it's matchmaking, not a directory.

We look at your loan type, the amount you need, your timeline, your location, and — importantly — how you like to work with a broker. Face to face or fully digital? Guided through every step or just get it done? We use all of that to find the best fit in our network.

One. We make a single, considered introduction rather than sending your details to a list of brokers. If for any reason the introduction isn't the right fit, get in touch and we'll find an alternative.

Typically within 1 business day of submitting your enquiry. Your matched broker will then reach out to you directly — by whichever contact method you nominated.

Yes — completely free for you. There is no charge to submit an enquiry, no charge to be matched, and no charge at any point in the process.

When your loan settles, the broker pays Loan Fair a referral fee. This comes from the broker — not from you, and not from marking up your interest rate. We only get paid when a good match settles, which means it's in our interest to get the match right.

No. If you enquire, get matched, and decide not to proceed — for any reason — you owe nothing. There are no cancellation fees and no obligation at any stage.

Your details are used to match you with a suitable broker and are shared with that broker once a match is made. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with lenders directly, and we don't use it for marketing without your consent. Full details are in our Privacy Statement.

No. You provide explicit consent as part of the enquiry form before any details are shared. Your information is only passed to the broker we match you with.
